I started exploring India since 1999 and travelled length and breadth of India in the past many years. I was fortunate to meet people from many walks of life, several professional backgrounds, social and economic stages. I have faced many challenges, encountered failures and also a few unpleasant experiences. I believe growth happens outside one’s comfort zone. I evolved my thought process through consistent efforts in Work, Travel, Interaction and Learning; while mentoring many young people evolve along with me in their own way. Measuring success is a subjective aspect. Success is a relative term. We must focus on using talent constructively to build a healthy ecosystem within our reach. Revolution is Repeated Evolution and such evolution of learning process shall start from within SELF which is a continuous function of time.

Nation building activity is presumed to be the job of the Government or large institutions while at an individual level it is considered as an unachievable task. The primary reason for not attempting Nation building activity is the FEAR of losing the rat race of materialistic measurement by the world around. If we think rationally we arrive at conclusion that Nation building is the collective manifestation of various individual passions that exists in every one of us and it cannot be measured in terms of achievement. It is a continuous and unending activity. There is no measure of achievement when we serve our motherland. It is duty as a citizen.

Indian Constitution Part IV-A which depicts Article 51-A and added to our Constitution by the 42nd Amendment Act, 1976 specifies a code of ten fundamental duties for citizens. The following three duties mentioned in Article 51-A attracted my thoughts since childhood.
Article 51-A
(d): “to defend the country and render national service when called upon to do so”
(h): “to develop the scientific temper, humanism and the spirit of inquiry and reform”
(j): “to strive towards excellence in all spheres of individual and collective activity so that the nation constantly rises to higher levels of endeavor and achievement.”

So even on the constitutional guidelines, working for Nation building is respectful and fundamental duty. For Nation to be SELF-Reliant every individual must be SELF-Reliant by effectively using the education, tools and environment that are indigenous. Building such indigenous processes and socio-technical tools is the need of the Nation as on 75th year of independence. We must realize that every one of us is a leader with qualities desired to build Nation at an individual level. We may not have a lavish life style but can definitely aim for a healthy and meaningful life style. Adding value as an individual within one’s purview by doing activities aiming at improving people, process, technology, economy and governance is sufficient. Decentralized way of thinking is the hour of the need for Nation building.

Concept:

“Like the way rain showered on fertile soil germinates the seed, so is the result of creative Idea, when shared with innovative and inquisitive minds. I firmly believe Innovation and Entrepreneurship results in Product Development and Economic progress. Economic progress results in SELF-sustenance which gradually eliminates social barriers. There is immense scope for improving our Education System, Health Eco System, Agriculture, Industry, Judiciary, Governance and Electoral process. Competition is an Auto-correlation function and Comparison is a Cross-Correlation Function. Let us compete within ourselves to build as an individual and then contribute to the Nation Development through fair practice and rational thinking.”

I am working as an individual to do my bit of service by encouraging and mentoring youngsters. Being an Engineering graduate with scientific background, I initially chose to work on encouraging youngsters and mentoring them as useful Engineers, Scientists and Entrepreneurs and rational socialists. Through my journeys, I realized that there is substantial ground work remaining to effectively develop and build our Nation which I intend to focus through this Foundation. Hence I formalized my personal mission as a Foundation to create platform for people with similar mindset who are interested to work on Nation Building activities. I invite passionate and patriotic people to join me in my endeavors to contribute to Nation building.
